98 camaro z28 torque arm removal

Well here's the deal with me blowing my car up I'm now parting her out so I can pay off some debt and buy my 5th gen. I have an after market tq arm with a driveshaft safety loop and tunnel mount. well my question is how the heck do I remove my driveshaft? lol.

at the rearend you unbolt the 2 metal straps that wrap around the caps of the u-jointthink they are 3/8 or 10 mm.once you remove the straps push the driveshaft to the front of the car and the rear of the shaft will come out at the rearend.then just pull the shaft towards the rear of the car and it should fall out. beware that some fluid might come out of the tailshaft of the tranny. hopr that helps.

how much you sell in the t/A for? what brand is it? is it adj? and is it the relocated one that doesnt connect to the tranny?

yea Sold it to a guy from a local car forum for 350. it's a UMI Chrome-moly adjustable tunnel brace mount with integrated driveshaft safety loop in hamertone black. sucky part is the parts a year old driving on the car for a total of 4 months and then the car sat for 8 now. I bought it for 520. taking a big loss. oh well. guess that's what happens when you blow a car up and decided it's better to part it out so you can buy a new camaro then build it back up. . .
