Wrapping my hood
I would like to wrap my hood I'm just curious how hard it be to do has anybody done it themselves

Not hard at all. I would suggest you have an extra set of hands to pull vinyl tight. And a hairdryer will do the job to help stretch around edges and to pull out any wrinkles descending on material you're using.
![]() This would help you smooth vinyl as you lay. Or a creditcard but that may scratch vinyl. L99/TR6060 1LS swap in the making. |

Get one of those Plastic things with the soft material, will be very helpful as credit card, will probably cause damage. also, a sharp razor blade, to cut the excess off, nice and clean!

I would use 3M Primer 94 on the edges. Also. you need to post heat the wrap especially on the edges so it looses its memory. I post heat to 180-200 degrees using a laser thermometer and heat gun.

you doing 3D CARBON FIBER OR THE 4D CARBON FIBER.. if you do the 4D fiber let me know i have done it before and can tell you what not to do with it

I was thinking about 3d..my only concern is I have a heat extractor & I'm concerned about the wrap being cut ware I cut out the hood ..maybe dubbing up in that area
