Quick question on the ambient lighting - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Is the ambient lighting an "always on" feature, or is there an on/off toggle switch that can be used? I'm assuming the ambient lighting comes on when you turn your headlights on, but are you able to turn it off as well?

I'm pretty sure there is no off. One of my very minor complaints with my Camaro is that the dash brightness and ABL are on the same control. I'd like to dim the dash quite a bit, but still have the ABL up high.

in my car, it's controllable. it can be turned down independant of the dash lights.

It's only on when the headlights are on.

How? Mine works with the dash lights.
