Got My Z/28 Brembo Carbon Ceramic Complete Brake Kit.
So I got lucky and was able to find a guy selling the complete set of Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes from a Salvaged Z/28.

nice. those things are pricey as hell.
if anyone is looking for the best price on the entire z/28 brake setup, i don't think anyone has a better deal than this ebay seller. |

What is the difference in the calipers from a regualr iron rotor set up? Anything?

I mean is there anything special about them. Could someone use regualr calipers on ceramics if the rotors worked. why are they more expensive

God damn, after my last track day Saturday, I'd love to swap out a set of those carbon ceramic, but just can't justify $7200 right now. Ran one session with a guy I met at this NASA event with a 2015 Z/28, and he was hard on the brakes, harder than I can be, and they never faded. I got bounced around in that seat (no harnesses, just stock belt) for 20 minutes!
Might have to look at another, less expensive option....
