This year at the Sturgis Camaro Rally was one for the books. Great turn out with so many different styles of Camaro's. The events started off Thursday with the Poker run and Pub Crawl, we were just rolling in so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the festivities.

The real fun however didn't start until Friday with the JDP Autocross event! We had a bunch of race enthusiast show up and show us what they could do. Out of our 3 official runs Evilynn ran a 54.1 which put us right in the #1 spot. When it was time for the fun runs we got her down to 51.9!! Guess she just needed some time to warm up. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd of supporters with this event!

That evening it was time to hit the drags, this is Lurch's stomping grounds! Even though he only got one run in before it started to rain he didn't disappoint. Running a 6.70 on the 1/8th mile. Now that's hauling some serious butt . Then it was time for Evilynn to be put to the test. She went head to head with a Hennessy 700 package and won !! For those of you who don't know how much power the HPE700 package makes its roughly 708 bhp @ 6,300 rpm and 673 lb-ft torque @ 4,000 rpm That's a lot of power but it just didn't match up with Evilynn and her awesome driver Jordan !

Saturday was set for the show and shine! All sorts of beautiful cars lined the main street of downtown. From classics to newer models there was something for everyone to like. There we unveiled our SC Stage V package for Mr. Bob Kupper and Kupper Chevrolet new 2016 SS. That was a whole new monster for its class and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out . We even had some of our local customers win!! Congrats to Michelle and Shelia for placing 2nd and 3rd for 5th Gen Modified ! After the show and shine wrapped up it was time for the Load Pipes/ Burn out contest. We didn't win but that's okay because we sure did leave our mark on that town. The awards dinner was that evening were we had a great opportunity to get to know some of our customers more and raffle off some $50.00 gift certificates!

All in all we had a great time this year and we can't wait until next year! We want to thank everyone who came out and supported us at the Autocross as well as all the people of Sturgis. We hope to see everyone again next year!

Gorgeous rides! That 4th gen's got the best 4th gen ground effects I've ever seen.
