Catch can install with oem connectors.

Hello all,

So I am here installing my catch can. I didn't buy one with a bracket, but hell, it is easy enough to make your own.

I like working with aluminum, so I have some scrap aound the house garage.

I decided to mount mine off of the radiator bracket, for ease of cleaning. Mine does not have a valve at the bottom.

So, I took a piece of flat stock aluminum, put it in a vise and bent two 90 degree bends in it. Next I drilled two holes using the catch can bracket as a template.

Once that was done I took off the engine cover and found the little U shaped hose from the engine to the intake.

This is were I have the question, why doesn't anyone reuse the factory connections on this hose? It would seem perfect to reuse. The plastic is thick enough to make a connection to and use a hose clamp as insurance.

Anyway, I reused them here are some pictures, maybe it will give others an idea.

See ya,
Bill
