Camaro Delivery Guy
soooo, i might be getting a job by november as a delivery guy. my car is a v6 so i guess it wont be that bad with mpg, but i would probably feel better with the job if i had something more economical. how many of you guys have had a job in delivery and used your camaro? this is like the only job i could find. ive seen a few camaros used in delivery. like around here theres a 3rd gen that does deliveries for dominos, and papa johns used his camaro for deliveries, and still does right? does a cai save me gas?? advice would be appreciated.

I never had a delivery job but one weekend I helped my son out by setting up the American flags on Flag Day at various businesses. If I remember correctly I set up about 100 flags and I drove my 94 Camaro 5 speed manual V-6. I hadn't been driving the Camaro that long so by the time I put the flags up and took them down that evening I was very good at getting in and out of the Camaro. The hatch and fold down rear seat also worked out real well. I also drove 99 B4C police Camaro for a year at work. After getting in and out of a 4th generation a couple 1000 times you kind of learn how to fall in and roll out of the car. Believe me a gun belt and portable radio don't make this any easier. I actually had less back problems driving the Camaro compared to the Crown Vics I drove. My 3.4 V-6 usually gets 21 to 26 MPG in mixed driving and I could think of worse vehicles. The only down side to my 94 Camaro was manual 5 speed which is a hassle in heavy stop and go traffic. This is not a problem for me since I live in a rural area. Some times you have to learn to use what you've got. In the winter I throw a couple of sandbags in the rear of my 94 Camaro which helps. I even drove the B4C in the winter. Good luck and be careful in your delivery job as it can have its own hazards besides the traffic.

lol thanx for the advice. well getting in and out of my camaro is not that bad because im a small guy, so im used to it. im just worried about putting miles on it and the gas. it would suck if i spent most of my money on gas. i guess ive i dont drive with a heavy foot i would be alright.
