Oil cap for the valve cover?

I took off my oil filler elbow on my 2014 2SS camaro only to find out that the cap has a single notch in it when the filler tube has two.....I managed to butcher my cap with a dremel and make it work for now but are there any caps out there that can be applied right to the valve cover? I was looking at maybe putting on a breather cap considering they can be but I didn't know if it was counter intuitive with a catch can already installed on the PCV line?

I did some research and I think I just want to get a solid cap with no breather. Does anyone know of a cap that can be put right on the valve cover?

I've gone through two of those - they shrink when exposed to heat for some odd reason. I was leaking oil from my cap after replacing my valve covers with pro-form equivalents.

As those are meant for a 1.22" size hole, I'd highly suggest looking for something slightly larger - like 1.23-1.25" - They'll be a little snug at first, but will loosen over time.

I personally have the K&N breather - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Why I suggested the proform grommet to pair it above

It looks like I'll have to try that route now too. My K&N has shrunk to the point of leaking again.

So essentially, this is an oil cap and a catch can all in one? Nice find!

Only clean side though. Just keeps the air coming from the crank case into the intake tube from having oil in it

I can see that there is a secondary part that screws into the existing oil cap which allows the can to push in.

Would you happen to know the OD of the bottom portion of the can that pushes in?

No. But it fits right in that grommet above. That's the exact grommet/link I bought/use

Thanks - I'll try that. Do you think a catch can is also necessary, even if you're not boosted?
