Hot Wheels from NJ

Just snagged myself a Hot Wheels edition LT. I had a 06 fusion for the last 9 years and with my birthday coming up i thought to myself: "**** it, i'm not getting any younger... time for a sports car." Had a few choices lined up to be scouted (mostly Camaros and Mustangs) but when I laid my eyes on the Hot Wheels I just HAD to have it. Everything about it looked and felt right.

Admittedly I have never been much of a car guy, but I can definitely say that that is now going to change. I am so motivated to tame this beast. I think this may become more of a hobby.

Coming from a mid-sized sedan everything about this Camaro is new to me, from the size, the drivetrain (RWD coming from a FWD), the power, etc. I knew what I was in for after my test drive and am being very cautious not to push it beyond what I'm yet comfortable with. I am very open to any tips and feedback from all of you on how to handle this car. Any wisdom you can impart on me that can make me a better Camaro owner and driver, whether negative or positive, is very welcome.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats! The Hot Wheels editions car is one "HOT" car! They hit the nail on the head with that color scheme. Enjoy the ride
