Replacing a flat. Change all 4 or just front 2? Wide Pilot SS to Continental/PZero
Quick question. I have all Michellin Pilot Super Sports. There's a in-repairable front tire, so I need to buy another.
They recommended I purchase all 4 new tires, they suggested Nitto Motivos, but I don't think I'm going to go with that. I was looking at Continental Extreme Contact, Continental ControlContact, Pirelli Scorpion Winter, Pirelli P Zero (Non All season). My tires are also 275/35 and 295/35 instead of the stock 245/45 and 275/40. With my Super Sports, would you guys just recommending replacing the front tires only? Or should I replace all 4. I was thinking of keeping the rear SS because they're good tires and are a little larger than stock? Any of the above brands you recommend as well? I use it as a daily driver, have a few issues with sliding when it's wet roads, accelerate fast and brake quick. There's a small amount of o2 cracking on all tires as well. |

If you have issues on wet roads with PSS tires it's only going to get worse going with one of the other choices.
How many miles on your current setup?

I would recommend the Nitto Invo's. The continentals have soft wide walls. The invo's have very stiff side walls and they handle really well in the rain. I ran the invo's for about 2 years and loved them. I switched the rear tires to the NT05's for a bit more grip but I still the invo's up front. Really good tires for the money.
