cadillac ATS brembo calipers for LFX

I ordered a new pair of front ATS brembo calipers from dealer(22760030/22760031) for $246.... does it require a caliper pin kit? I already have a set of non drilled/slotted black zinc rotors on my car ... what pads would you suggest?? Also what would be the rear upgrade....

Your V-6 rotors won't work, they are too small. You'll have to get SS rotors. Yes you will need pins kits, and... brake lines. Most people would replace the caliper bolts as well. You'll also have to trim or replace the dust shields, it's easy to trim them. The rotors in the pic are of the rear rotors, but the front SS rotors are bigger than stock V-6 rotors.

Are the ATS calipers the same as the CTS V six-piston units?

No. the ATS appear to be the same as the normal SS calipers. The front on the ATS are 4 piston brembos and the rear are a standard 2 piston. I would say try it out since you already ordered it.

I'm not an expert on this topic, but I just put the ATS Brakes on my 2011 V6. My kit came with pins and pads. I've linked the post where I first heard of the upgrade and also some pics of my car (post 41) in the second link. I have Goodridge stainless braided brake lines and some after market drilled and slotted rotors. It all went together pretty nicely except for a banjo bolt that was the wrong size.
