Help! With autometer oil pressure gauge/sending unit

I have a 2013 1ss/1le. I bought an autometer oil pressure gauge. It came with a sending unit, 1 wire. What I found online suggests mounting it above the oil filter. I have an oil cooler there, not an option. The factory sending unit is on the back of the block. It looks near impossible to remove. It has 2 wires. Can I tie my single wire into one of those two and use the factory sending unit for my gauge? If so, which wire? If not, what are my options?

Thanks!

You can not use the factory sending unit with the autometer gauge. If you can't use the fitting by the filter you'll need to remove the factory one behind the intake and install the AM sender. It will require a metric adapter which you can get from autometer.

When I remove the factory sending unit I will not get a light on the dash?

Fyi... I got the autometer unit on. Big pain! The factory unit is off...no lights on the dash. Not sure what that sensor does... I don't have a factory gauge.
