Angry Somebody Dinged my car

I need to vent here

I have no idea when this happened, but I just recently saw it after I washed my car. There's a black mark on my passenger side door with a ding the size of a bb bullet. It's like the person who hit my car made ZERO effort to stop their door from hitting mine, based on how the impact site looks, and they definitely used a lot of force to open their car.

Seriously, I park in corner spots, always far away from my location so no one else parks next to me. WTF is wrong with people!? I almost feel like this was done entirely on purpose, especially with how careful I am everywhere I go.

I just don't get it.. I'm sure it'll be cheap to fix and i'm not too worried about it, but I'm still in my "initial rage" phase. So disrespectful and wrong to do this to someones car.

Get a dash cam, bro. I got myself a Black Vue DR650S-CH2, same shit happened to me last year. Front and rear set. Won't be able to keep it from happening again, but at least you have it on camera.

My door isn't dinged but on a couple of occasions I've had people hit my car with with their door while I'm quietly sitting inside of my car on phone and I just felt my car shake from the impact. CITY PARKING😡😡😡

Paintless dent repair is your friend. As long as the paint isn't damaged you would be surprised how much they can fix.

Found something similar on the hood of my mothers 02 Tahoe. Right on the hump on the hood. PDR places said they couldn't remove it. Sucks because its the only dent/scratch on the vehicle. And its pretty visible.

i got a small ding on the passenger side fender top portion. Its much more visible at a distance than up close because of how the light reflects. Its fairly small... not sure where it came from. Its like almost like a light hail damage but the car has never been hit by hail. lol

Someone dinged me just above the rear passenger side wheel well. To say I was pissed would be an understatement.

+1
I had a PDR shop fix a ding in my rear quarter panel. Left the car there, walked down the street for lunch and 45 min later... Done!
I can't even find where the ding was. $125 tops.

Truth. I'd like to but I hear they're expensive!

Did you make them pay for it??

The incompetence from people blows my mind. I once saw a person try to parallel park, and while they were doing it, they were bumping into both the car in front and behind them. Just ridiculous.

I've had this happen to me twice in my Trans Am!! Both times I confronted the person, they both were like "What? what I didn't hit your car man, what?". **** you, idiots man up and take responsibility.

I'll most likely do this, but i'm not in a position to where I can pay 3 digits to get a small ding fixed at the moment. It's not going to be until next year til I get that dramatic raise at work.

People don't care; The really screwed up ones will purposely mark your car if they see that you take extra care of it.
