Who saw the Camaro at Hershey Park in Hershey PA?

When I was picking up my new baby yesterday, the salesman told me that my car was on display at Hershey Park.

She's a LT2 RS in Jewel tint. (pics in my other thread here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46022)
I'm not sure if she was the only one on display or if there were others, but he said "the one that was displayed at Hershey Park" which made me think she may have been alone.

I'd love to hear from anyone who saw her there!

Was she inside or outside? Anyone take her photo there?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Not to freak you out, but that car has been on display there all summer and has been significantly handled by the public. The stripes have been abused... Hope they plan on replacing them before you get it.

It was not roped off and has been manhandled by teens.

Seriously I would not take possession until you see it in person and ensure that all damage has been repaired.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I had to post when I saw this.

We thought they would send the car to corporate when it was done there.

Why would they put his car there without it being roped off?
I probably wouldn't take it.

Why would a dealer put a car you bought up for all to pawn all over?? Did you give them permission?

I didn't order it... I went to the dealer & there she was, exactly what I was going to order except for the transmission was auto instead of manual.

The wife wanted automatic anyway & my Z was an auto so I figured what the heck I can have it right now this way. Things happen for a reason & I think she was meant just for me by the powers that be!

She was perfect other than one extremely minor scratch in the clearcoat on the drivers side which they were able to buff out. I can't even tell where it was now. Stripes look fine. Not sure if they were replaced but there isn't anything wrong with them. She looks perfect to me!

She had 116 miles on her too, but I've put more than that on her in the past two days & there will be many many more to come so that doesn't concern me.

What concerns me the most is that this is such a beautiful car so many people gawk, slow down/speed up to get a look, beep, give a thumbs up etc... they are also swerving as they do all this & I'm afraid someone is going to hit something (like me!).

So did anyone who saw her at Hershey Park take any pics of her? I'd like to see them if there are some out there. (I'm sure there are, I just hope some of them find this thread.)

I'm glad the car looks OK to you now. The hood stripes had been scratched and peeled at by kids.

I have a photo from when the car first went on display earlier this year. It was on ramps that tilted the nose toward the ground. I'll post it later. I'm on the road right now.

One time friends at the park (also Camaro lovers) saw kids pulling the door open (difficult since it was so awkwardly tilted) and climbing inside the drivers seat. They told a security guard who said that wasn't possible because they keep it locked. But then he saw it happen and ran to the car.

I'm really glad that it looks ok now, though. They really must have buffed it out and replaced the stripes.

It shocks me that they sell cars that have been used for public display like this without knocking $5000 or so off for it.

Enjoy the car and forget it's past!!!

I think mine was on some type of display since it has VIN number 28 and it had 111 miles on it when I bought it two months ago. It had the exact options I was looking for so I wasn't going to complain about some miles or that it was sitting on the lot for so long.

Yeah, definitely. But a theme park is different than a dealer lot where at least there is some supervision.

You know how kids abuse things.

It's been at the dealership since early to mid summer, but with the production number it means the car has been sitting somewhere else for a while and from what I heard it was used as a display car somewhere (similar to the OP's).
