More L99 Dyno results.

Car previously made 347rwhp and 352rwtq with a roto-fab/muffler delete and tune.

Yesterday with headers and a 3600 stall before the tune the car baselined 352hp and 357 rwtq.

After the tune the car made 359rwhp@5400
and 373rqtq @4500

At the stall speed which is about 34-35ish it made 350sih rwtq
and about 230ish rwhp.

I was told that the 3600 stall will throw the numbers down some, but man if you get a stall, when its tuned it drives totally stock except for launching. I havent been able to beat it too hard because every time I get my car tuned it rains.

Car was tuned by Performance By Joe in St Louis. He was cool as hell and tunes some 1200+hp cars. Plus his doesnt have a big head about it. I got there at about 9am and left at about 4:30. He went through and set everything up the way I wanted it and made the part throttle response excellent. $400 for dyno tune, be it NA or FI. Then he charges dyno time for updates.

Well last time at the track before the stall it went 12.73 @ 110, if I rememeber correctly. All I know is that it literally eats the tires on the street now. I would like to see a 12.3 out of the stall with the new tune.

HP tuners.

I still doesnt shift quite as firm as I would like on upshifts....but down shifts pretty much made me dump my pants. It barked the tires at about 65. I think it may need to be toned down a bit.

Yeah, it does drop the rwhp on the dyno, but bumps your performance and track times.

How much were your torque converters? I'm considering getting one....

$900? I forget now.. best bang for the buck, but needs a tune to drive right for sure.

Stock on same brand of dyno was 321hp and 333tq.

The Yanks are $775 and Im guessing like most autmatics will be the biggest bang for the buck for bolt-ons. I will find out next friday.

I have AR Headers, Roto-Fab and Borla S Type. After the tune I got 363.10 rwhp and 379.26 max torque on the dyno. Pretty similar to what you got.

Its the same end result, just kind of how you get there. Right now efi live has some extra paramaters cracked for the transmission that HP tuners havent figured out yet though.
