Low oil pressure on 2015 V6

Ok guys I need help
So my Camaro is running what I think is low oil pressure at idle
It runs at
1.0 bar and sometimes 0.8-0.9 bar
Is this normal?
I already check the oil level and it was low so I filled it up to level (5-30)
Any help would be appreciated!
Btw I do not have the RS gauges
My car is a 2015 2LS V6.

Matches my experience. Once warm, idles around 1. First car I've had that the oil pressure fluctuates visibly when driving. Every other car stayed pretty consistent

After driving my car lastnight - My car warm at idle was in the 2 - 2.2 range. Mine never read as low as yours.

5-30 oil is ultra thin when its warmed up,but thats what all the car companies use to get every mile per gallon out of the car that they can.it does shoot up to about 5 bar when you get on it,doesnt it?

If by get on it you mean drive normally, yes. Usually by 3k its at 6 bar. At least for me anyway.

A bar is 14.5 psi. So yes, one bar seems low.

Bars aren't even a standardized unit of measure (Pascal is) but, as of 2004, the bar is legally recognized in countries of the European Union.

It reminds me of when the American automobile manufacturers started using liters for engine sizes. During the gas crunch in the '70s they began making smaller engines. So when people asked what size the motor was they didn't know how many cubic inches that number meant. They didn't want to try and sell a 231ci (3.8) engine to people who had 350ci in a mid-size.

BTW, there are no RS gauges, there are 2LT/2SS gauges.

To be honest the car now only shoots up to 5.0 when going up a rap of a freeway. just the other day my car hit an all time low on pressure of 0.6 bar (8.7 psi) im starting to think that this might be a faulty oil pump. but other than that the pressure is rather low on car. and it feels a bit sluggish on picking up speed.

BTW no this car was NEVER raced or any of that illegal street racing.

mine idles around 1 bar when warm, and only has 10,000 miles on it.are you hearing valve clatter at 1 bar when idling?might be worth getting a mechanic to hook up a known good oil pressure guage and see what that reveals.
