KPE Supercharger Released for the LFX

KPE Supercharger for the LFX Camaro-Released!

The moment you all have been waiting for….the KPE Supercharger for the 2012-2015 LFX Camaro is now ready for production. With Derek’s help and a few other fine folks, we now are ready to begin producing the new and improved supercharger kit.

Gone are the days of old KPE or IPF, lack of support, lack of parts, or lack of knowledge. The new KPE is here. The new system is here.

The bone stock kit with all hard piping, 31x12x3” intercooler, and Vortech V3SCi supercharger, and partnered with Overkill Motorsport tuning, is putting out 400+ RWHP, and 330ft/lbs of torque, up approximately 30hp and 30ft/lbs from the original kit.

Key improvements are the new all hard-piping, new power steering fitting and hose routing, larger, more robust idler pulleys with longer lasting bearings, a conventional blow off valve system, larger intercooler, and a quality catch can system with clean side separator.

A sound byte from Derek’s car-

New Idler Pulleys:

The Vortech:

Hard Piping:

Tuned with the base intercooler*:

Tuned with the optional intercooler*:

Tuning is now done by Overkill Motorsports. Hand held tuner included that will allow you to datalog your car and send files over for retunes. Make changes, upgrades, gear changes, send that information over, and get a retune, for YOUR car.

Now go be that guy or girl at the track that constantly gets asked “is that a V8?”
And you can answer with:

V8 power (or more!) without the insurance costs, or fuel costs. Why not?

Be a part of the KPE Team, and reach out to be a part of the new KPE.

FIRST 15 people to email support@kpe-products.com will be eligible for more savings or options

Upgrade kits and parts (Intercooler, piping, blow off valve, power steering, idler pulleys, etc) will be available separately.

Kits will be shipping in 4-6 weeks. Pricing starts at $6995, with upgrade options available.

Thank you, and welcome to the new KPE Performance team!

Another thing I have noticed.

Huge MPG increase on the car especially on the highway. Previously was around 23-24.

This is with 3.91 gears too.

The redesigned system took every aspect we could think of would be an improvement, and incorporated as much as possible and still keep this affordable. The soon to be release retrofit kits will allow the existing owners of the original systems to see similar results. And the fuel economy improvement we had to wait on Derek's results to validate, but we were right on with that as well. Take a 3-5 MPG savings, depending on how many miles you drive a year, and the upgrade kits could pay for them selves in a reasonable amount of time.

Will there be an 8-rib upgrade for those of us pushing over 15 PSI? I'm running a 2.95" pulley.

We should have pricing available for the fully updated/upgraded kit with the larger intercooler and different BOV available today, as well as working on an upgrade kit for those with the original IPF kit!

More to be released soon!

I live in rain and lots of water on the road country and have never felt good about having the air intake down low. Is there any option?
