Considering My Options

Hello from sunny Florida! (Where airplanes are life ... for me anyhow)

I've been living here about a year (formerly from the great state of West Virginia.. where a Camaro isn't the most practical daily)... and so it's time to consider one.

I joined last week but just saw this intro section; guess I have been too wrapped up in researching the car and browsing through color threads to scroll to the bottom and introduce myself. So, hi!

Currently considering a hyper blue V6 M6 (2LT), RS and a HUD (and all that comes with the lighting package)...
Currently own 2 Grand Prixes and just sold my 2001 Trans Am (Didn't really want to but it went back to the person I bought it from; felt they were more attached to it than I was; -and I was pretty attached)...

Anyhow hope to be joining the ranks of the ownership here soon, and looking forward to being part of this community.

Awesome! #FlyLife

There's a strategy behind the V6. I haven't ever owned a manual. I'd like the easier clutch. I haven't test driven an SS or an LT yet, but normally the clutch in the V6 is a bit easier...

Kinda got "gun-shy" of the V8 manual when I first drove a Fifth Gen. Not gonna lie, had a bit of trouble with it.

Thanks for the welcome!

I got my SS when I was 17 and taught myself how to drive manual on it. It's not hard at all.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
