Differences Between The 3 MGW Shifters?

I'm finally tired of fighting my Hurst Billet Short Throw Shifter in my 2012 2SS/RS. I have read a lot of praise for the MGW shifter in the Camaro, Corvette, & Mustang forums. There are three different models for the 2010-2015 Camaros: Flat Stick, Retro, & OEM/ZL1. To me, it looks like the only differences might be 1) flat or round shaft, 2) material the shaft is made of, 3) color of the shaft, and 4) knobs available with them. Which of the three versions do you MGW Shifter Owners use and why? Thanking y'all in advance...
