Fuse Pull?

I was reading about the fuse pull for the v8 engine and was wondering if anyone tried it for the V6?

No real benefit on our cars, like for the SS guys... That being said I did it yesterday to verify that pulling 5 and 20 would reset the ECU without losing all the other settings for things like the stereo, windows, tires, etc. And it worked... car kept all it's settings..

Thanks. I'll mark that off of my "to do" list when I get my Camaro.

V-6 is ment to run on 87 octane so nothing for you guys. It was my V8 that we found the problem when dealer filled it up with 87 octane. The car would not learn to use the 93 octane table. GM even sent engineers down here to fix my car and the reset the octane tables.

I figured out the same thing could be done pulling the fuses and got my bodies car PQ running right with the pull. That is what started the old fuse pull.

what if your dealer first put 91 0r a higher octance then 87, and now all you do is put 87, would the fuse pull work in that scenario?
