Price check: 3.45 diff almost 60k miles
Possibility that I'm gonna be replacing my differential- had an axle let go on me today, and when the shop repairs, I'm considering having them toss in a 1le diff.
As long as the current diff is verified in good shape, what's a good asking price? Was in great shape until this morning when the axle went, and will have the shop verify good working order before sale. Not gonna say it never got beat on, but it sure hasn't given me a lick of an issue, and 99% of the time is spent in slow traffic. That 1% extra did entail a bit of fun...was thinking maybe 600+shipping? Is that a reasonable ask, as long as the shop says it is in good order? Shop is wholly trustworthy- KP Racing in Houston Thoughts? Is it even worth it? Would anyone buy? |

600 for a 60,000 mile diff might be a little high, but you'll get offers, might have to cut a deal, but your not out of line.

1le is not really upgrading , if u spending money I would get a zl1 rear end this way u have bigger rear end and bigger axles . And as far as the price I sold couple I had with 20k miles for like 450-500.

1le would totally be an upgrade for me, as it has the 3.91s...I don't need a zl1 setup - only putting like 470hp/460tq to the wheels. zl1 would be overkill, but the 3.91s would get me a little more oomph on the ass end of it all.
Either way looks like it's staying in. Shop checked it out, said diff was golden, and I didn't want to spend any more money on the swap at the moment. |
