Recipe for 475rwhp?

So I'm thinking very seriously about getting this set up for my camaro. I currently have long tube headers and CAI. I am thinking about getting the Tick Polluter cam, fast 102 intake, and the 102mm TB. My question is will this be able they me close to my goal? I'm shooting for atleast 475. Or is the intake and manifold needed for even 475rwhp?

I'm 478 with ported heads through a manual but have since went th400. My stock bottom end has 100k miles on it so I may be loosing a few there.

Yes, that will get you close anyways.

I'm at 475rwhp with the BTR stage 4 cam which is the same as the tick ls3 polluter and I have stock intake and stock throttle body still. I imagine with a ported throttle body and a rod-modded intake or a fast 102/Nick Williams 102tb there would be another ~15-20hp or so combined and that would do it.

Look into the GPI SS3 cam though if you're looking to make that power also...wish I got one instead of my BTR stage 4.

The GPI sounds mean and looks like it performs to. Another question is should I do the trunnions or leave them factory. And Oil pump, I'm getting a new one but should get a factory or just get the melling? Never done a cam in a V8 yet so not sure what all is needed I know the c5r chain is for sure, 3 bolt conversion, push rods, springs and retainers, ls2 damper, I just feel like something is missing.

Look into straub for trunions. Since you have an ls3 you'll probably want to upgrade to a melling. Save your money and port your stock tb with a GPI rail mod intake. No need to spend 1,200 for 15 rwhp. You can get 15 with the rod mod.

Changing out the chain tensioner/damper and upgrading to a C5R corvette racing change and changing to a higher volume pump are one of the things that many do not do to save money due to the pain of dropping the pan and doing this with the engine and cradle in the car its a PITA to fit in the pan you cannot drop but a inch or so up front to get to fit the pickup tube and stuff right setting above the bottom of the pan at the right height with the pickup screen clearance right and the right O ring on the tube fit into the block.

So most save money on that if they do not have a big budget despite the fact all three are better off changed. Fast 102 ...better off for a stroker or larger cube as gains are more minimal and less value for a stock cube engine....say $1000 for 5 hp ( 376 versus larger cubes built 20hp), then add $500 for the nick Williams drive by wire..... Yup wish I had that money......I will some time.
