Super Chargers

So what's the better way to go? Do I purchase the super charger from Chevy or go with after market?

Why would you want to add 100 lbs to the front of a car that is already too heavy???

So the ZL1 is nose heavy ? And the new 2017 ZL1 is a world class car . GM thinks it works ....http://arstechnica.com/?post_type=post&p=989545

The ZL1 was designed around that weight... the 1LE was not. And not only is the added weight up front, it is also relatively high. Neither is going to improve handling.

Personally, with a 1LE I'd make as much NA power as I could and call it a day. It would be plenty fast and better to drive.

And I've got nothing against superchargers... the magic 8 ball says a 2017 ZL1 is in my future.

1/LE's come stock with some things that make the conversion easier like the ZL1 fuel pump
