Lubbock Camaro5 Meet

I think it's time for our next meet

I ran into the owner of a 2LT Summit White at the car wash today and made me realize that a gathering is in order. If you guys are up for it, just post here. I've seen so many more 5th gens on the road so hopefully we can have a bigger turnout. There are two others that live by me that I could talk to and direct them to the site as well.

I don't know what you guys are up for -- perhaps lunch and a cruise? Took my girlfriend to the Stars & Stripes drive-in a couple weeks ago and had tons of fun in the car, maybe a meet there would be fun. Again, please post suggestions...the more the merrier.

I've been thinking the same, we need to get together again. I've been trying to think of a meet and cruise, the drive-in would probably be great. It would be cool to have a lot of 5thGens there. I am definitely in. Glad you posted for another meet!!!

I'm in also. I didn't get to make to the last meet, but hopefully things will work out to where i can. Llevan, I'm curious as to how you wash your car. Do you take it through an automated car wash or one of the coin operated ones. Just wondering cause I don't have a waterhose at my house. Lookin forward to a meet!

Glad to see another Lubbock member! I've had a hard time trying to keep the car clean. I live at Raider's Pass and all the parking is outside so my car usually has a layer of dust after a few days. When I do go and wash it, I take it to the coin operated wash off of 4th. I bring my Zaino, microfiber towels, and a bucket. All I'm really using from the actual machine is the water -- I prefer using my own soap and will never touch the brush that is there.

Oh cool. I live in Commander's Palace, with a small carport that's only use is to block the sun. Sounds like we use the same method, which is sweet, but i instead of a zaino towel i use armor all products. I've seen a red SS and a blue RS Levelland, so i'll try and get a hold of them and try to introduce them into the site aswell!

I would like to join up with the group of Camaro5 owners also. I am going to pick mine up this Saturday with my son in Weatherford. I'll check back to see if time and place are planned.
