rear bumper: Repair or Replace?

so this happened last year in July i had just bought my 2015 1ss and drove it over to my parents house to let them check it out. So my mom is a huge camaro fan so i let her take it out for a quick drive (mind you i've only owned this car for like 3 hrs) and i turn around for 2 seconds and hear a sound a new car owner never wants to hear. she had backed up on their mailbox and scratched the rear bumper in 3 spots about 2mm deep. i was just wondering if anyone has repaired anything like this before? i mean i can always buy a new bumper cover but id rather not dole out that much dough if anyone has a home repair option. also sorry about no pictures as of now ill post one when i get a shot of it.

They can be repaired. Ask your local body shop for a quote.
