Noob, 45th Anny m6 ss
Just wanted to say hi. Nice to still see a forum alive, Facebook has destroyed them mostly.
Anyhow, had a 99 z28 m6 and couldn't keep it running long enough to make it down the driveway lol, so I ditched it 3 weeks ago for this stunning 12 SS 45th anniversary Camaro 2ss/rs 6 speed. Got a great price considering it was from a dealer. 21,500. Anyhow first mod was flowmasters, lol they are nearly as quiet as stock. Also have an 03 avalanche, 66 mustang and 72 maverick |

Congrats on the new ride. Now you gotta get some high flow cats and really wake it up!

Welcome to the club
I have the same car, I really like the Carbon Flash metallic paint in the sun. I put a set of Borla Atak axlebacks on mine, they are definitely louder than stock but not as much as I expected. Like pyroguy said, probably need to switch the cats to get it to open up more.

I'm considering running the bank bolt on pipes to bypass the cats. Anyone run this?

Nice choice and great price! The 45th is great! If you want more sound though get long tube headers, that's where the sound really starts to open up.

You're in so-cal so be careful what you do there. I've got to smog before Jan and what worries me are my high flow cats... I've got shorties on, a flowmaster catback and it all sounds freaking awesome. As mentioned, the high flow cats definitely help the tone note, not to mention a set of shorties (CARB legal).

I'm well connected here, smog isn't an issue. However in this case it would be cheapest to swap cats back on. In all honestly I'll probably go high flow cats 2 of them. Still not legal, but will pass functional
