The best cost-benefit ratio parts are a cold-air intake, high-flow cats and a tune, each typically adding 10 - 15 HP and ft/lbs (although with each additional mod also comes diminishing returns, so doing all three won't get you a 30 - 45 HP and ft/lb gain); from there you can finish the intake and exhaust.

Tough call. Your 2LS is tuned for gas mileage, so the gear ratio is pretty poor for acceleration (which I assume is what you want since you are specifically mentioning torque and not HP).

I'd say getting a throttle controller should get the feeling you want the fastest/easiest.

The Jacfab intake spacer is specifically for added torque in the lower 2/3 of the rpm range. I'm ordering one for Christmas!

Which one is a better to do the ported intake manifold or the spacer for better torque? Thanks

I don't think Jason is currently doing the intake porting any more, but the intake spacer is specifically designed for torque in crease. A cold air intake system does similar hp/torque increases as the ported intake manifold, so both work hand in hand to increase hp and torque on the intake side of the motor. To answer your question, the spacer is better for torque in crease

Changing your rear ending gearing, the ring and pinion gear, will give you a mechanical advantage increase in torque.

You can email Jason at Jacfab and ask him about the mani. He may be doing some on a limited basis, never hurts to ask , all he can say is yes or no.

Don't forget the oil tube extender if you plan to keep using the engine cover. I just bought mine in anticipation of picking up JacFab's spacer after the holidays.

Good point for people considering the spacer. I bought mine on eBay for about $8 shipped if memory serves me correctly. Factory GM part too. Believe it also fit the G8...

+1 the intake manifold spacer on the Camaro intake was produced in an attempt to only make additional low to mid range torque.

The two parts compliment each other very nicely. The intake manifold spacer will gain you zero PEAK hp or tq, all of its gains are specifically made below about 5200 rpms, power and torque where it is usable EVERY day. The ported intake manifold builds on that to give you additional hp and torque below 5200 and continues to deliver it above that all the way to redline, see Dyno graph below

The blue line is a bone stock 2014 1LT V6 automatic, the red line shows the same car with only the intake manifold spacer, and the top maroon line shows the same car with only the spacer and ported intake manifold, with no other mods.

That said, I am sold out of spacers at the moment, and I am currently waiting for material to show up so I can make the next batch, but you can get them from Overkill. I should have more material to make the next batch next week. As for the ported manifold, I have taken a break from doing core exchanges and I am only selling new ported intake manifolds outright. Ie: if you want a ported intake from me, I will order a new manifold, port it, and sell it to you. I make zero money off of the new intake manifold itself, you are more than welcome to send me your own intake manifold for me to modify, or pick one up from a junkyard or eBay. I only charge for the labor and materials.

Each manifold comes with a new gm intake gasket kit, and free shipping in the continental US. Spacers come with new oring gaskets, no RTV sealant needed, and appropriate new hardware. I include an engine cover stud mount spacer to raise the stud up but if you plan to run the factory engine cover you will need to order the gm p/n 92068813 oil filler extension which is about $10 from a local dealer and sometimes cheaper online.
