how much cooler will window tint keep my car im looking at 20% or 35% im tired of buring myself on black leather in the summer

Ceramic tint, more $ but worth it. It's definitely cooler than standard tint, I had them both.

Makes a big difference, and i highly recommend it. Go with 3M's cereamic tint or similar. Mine is the Suntek Carbon XP iirc, at 35% and it's quite nice. You'll get varying opinions on what level to get, but i wouldn't go super dark. Get too dark and it affect the auto dimming mirrios. And of course, be aware of local laws, and go darker at your own risk. (35% is the legal limit here for example)

Those front accordion windshield covers actually work great at keeping temps down in your car (if you already have tinted windows).

It makes a big difference ... wouldn't have a vehicle without it, especially living in a desert environment

Big difference between 20% and 35%...20% is not legal on front windows here in South FL, but they are sooo necessary to avoid getting burned arms and neck. If they are legal where you are, I say go for it!

35 is legal limit but seems like a lot of people go with 20 that's kinda why I'm in the middle of them

I see a post in a few weeks saying "why are the cops harassing me?" Or "cops made me remove my tint".

Pretty much. If you go past the limit, you run the risk of drawing attention to yourself. I work in Phoenix, and my car is parked in the sun all day. 35% plus a sun screen for the front, and the car is never so hot i can't touch things, even on the 115°+ days.

Ceramic tint can be as light as 55%, that's what I have, enough to keep the heat out, enough to keep cops away.

I just go to a reputable tint place and get what ever they recommend, have 35 and it looks nice but going 20 next time. and the tint helps cut down on glare which helps if you get migraines or head aches in general from bright sun like I do.

I just installed Limo on the back sides and rear window, and 20% on the front side windows of my F-250 crew cab. Love it! Now I just need to buy a bigger accordion windshield cover for the front.

I installed Ceramic Tint right when I got my car. It's crazy how much UV rays it blocks out. It's something like 99% and equivalent of SPF 800 or something crazy like that.
