2012 Camaro - No Audio

I'm sure this topic has already been covered but I'm new to the site and can't find it. I hope you guys will be able to help.

A couple days ago my Camaro 2SS did not have audio when I started the car. No radio, directional clicks, warning chimes (when the door is open), Bluetooth, etc. Everything was on and functioning (i.e. the directionals worked, radio was on, mute was off) except there was no sound! The audio system is completely stock and I have not messed with it at all.

I checked the connections to the amp in the trunk but that was the extent of my investigation. I just couldn't get the audio to come back. On my way home from work (after about 15 minutes of driving), the sound came back. When I got home I shut the car off and turned it on again - no sound.

The next morning the car was back to normal and I had sound/audio and have no had a problem in the last couple days. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sidenote: I'm not sure this has anything to do with my problem but the radio turned on by itself while I was driving about a week before all this happened.

Here or the Audio forums, it happens though rare electrical gremlin.

Most likely the battery is failing, OEM sucks balls anyway. Replace it with an AGM.

Wouldn't the radio not power on correctly if the battery was failing? I immediately thought of the amp if everything works except the audio... but I'm not an expert on electrical

If everything is working but sound, amplifier could be failing or not receiving power as well.
