True Straight Pipes
Would a V6 sound good with no mufflers, no resonators and, no cats? Maybe add an X-Pipe but not the magna flow resonated one. if you do do this would you need to have smaller piping anywhere so it has back pressure?

Not sure about the back pressuring part but I'm sure there would be tons of rasp and will be very loud as well.

Yeah, the V6 does not sound good IMHO with straight pipes only. Like they said, raspy, loud & just plain not good sound unless all you care about is loud.

Sound is always an opinion but most would say that is a bad idea.

Straight Pipe
I removed my Magnaflow Res-X and put straight pipe on. Mind you I have LT headers and complete Magnaflow system. I reinstalled the Res-X the next day, it just sounded horrible.
