Hey Guys,
I have a 2014 2SS Convertible. It has the self dimming mirrors. I'm trying to figure out if the passenger side is also self dimming. I swear I can remember it being self dimming in the past and you can see the faint outline on it just like the drivers side and center rear view mirrors have. But the dealership says it's not self dimming.

Maybe it's my failing memory... Does anyone know for sure if the 2014 has self dimming on the passenger side too?

I know only the driver's side on my 2013 is self-dimming

It does not. I just looked over the schematics for the mirrors. It's likely that the line you see is the line for the heater. Both mirrors are heated (w/ the heated mirror option) but only the driver is auto dimming.

Why is there a heater element on the GM schematics, and a diagnostic for both side mirrors?

My drivers side and inside mirrors have the blue self dimming glass. Passenger side does not. Both outside are heated. If my top is up, all the glass is 15% tint, so I can't tell anyway at night.
