P0303 Code Help w/Cylinder ID
I've done a bit of searching here and online, but haven't found what I'm looking for.
My daughter's 2012 1LT, LFX equipped V6 is flashing a CEL periodically. The code my scan tool is showing is P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire detected. LOL, which cylinder is #3? I can't find info on cylinder location for this engine. I plan to pull the integral coil for cylinder 3 and place it in a different location to see if the issue is simply a shot coil.

Driver side is 1-3-5, passenger side is 2-4-6. To answer your question, middle cylinder driver side. You can double check by disconnecting the plug to the coil and starting it. See which cylinder codes.

As standing in front of the car looking towards the rear, right?
It's different than the LLT V6 engine then? I found in another thread the firing order on a 2010 with odd cylinders on the passenger's side and even ones on the driver's side.

My bad. You guys are right. 1-3-5 is passenger bank. 2-4-6 is driver side.
