Ghost Cam??

Hey, can anybody enlighten me on how to achieve this effect? Is it just a matter of playing with the timing in the idle cells?

I have HPT Pro version, so just looking for a little insight before i go experimenting on my own.

Thanks,
Scott

Don't waste your time, buy a cam if you want the sound. But idle over speed and under speed timing correction is where you would change it, you'd make it really agressive.

Engine > Advance > Idle Adaptive Spark Control >> both the Overspeed and Underspeed for P/N and Gear. Multiply each whole table by 1.2, 1.4, or 2 - until you get the desired idle effect. It may or may not work how you're expecting. Don't mess with the Idle Spark Advance table.

I wouldn't bother, it's just for the sound and you force the engine to essentially misfire and idle poorly.

Not a true statement. And, to each their own. Yes, the spark will swing moreso within a larger range, and the idle quality will roughen up. Adaptive Idle correction, by multiplying by a larger value, will swing the idle back and forth in a larger range. It's always nice to have a large cam lope, but you'd be faking it with the spark swings. No misfires happening.
