But the 2014 Camaro would be a 5th Gen, built in Canada.

Congrats to GM and Chevrolet!
My opinion only, but if there is any one auto brand with positive momentum, it has got to be Chevrolet. Why? Improved reliability of the cars vs. years/generations past. It was the main reason we moved away from GM products years ago, when they had us in their back pocket. Performance counts as well. So cool to see a Camaro again in the Car & Driver Top 10! Chevy Bolt poised to take huge market share, whether a person's motivation is economic, environmental, or both. Drove a Cruze for a couple of days a year or two ago and was simply amazed at how much better a car it was than the "small" GM cars from the past. If it turns out that the Malibu, or any other of these cars ranks high in safety as well, it would be just another huge plus. Lastly, the communication from GM as a Camaro owner has been great. Not too much, not too little and with the right content. I hope the reliability of the new Camaro can be improved, if there indeed is any initial drop from the 5th Gen. I will indeed be watching Consumer Reports. Go Chevrolet! |

As a 2014 1SS owner, my only major issue I had was an engine problem. The issue was fixed under warranty. Since then no issues at all. Currently over 61K miles and counting!! Congrats to Chevrolet for building a great vehicle!!
