Fake paddle shifters???

Was wondering if some have fake paddles shifters? Mine look to be for looks only! They don't move, just a button..

I know the paddles on my 2013 SS/RS work just fine; play with them all the time. It doesn't take much to 'click' shift & you need to have the transmission in "M"anual. not "D"rive

I know how they work. Mine just do not function. I have buttons just below the shifters that I press. But, the plastic paddles WON"T move!

The plastic paddles are just to make it appear there is a real paddle, but they don't move. Cheap move by Chevy

There must have been a change sometime in 2012-2103, my paddles work by clicking them

Lol me too.. in 2010 and 2011 the "paddle shifters" are just a button on the back of the wheel, and the things that look like paddles with the + and - on them don't move at all. So I'm assuming that in 2012 and later when they changed the steering wheel, they used real paddles instead of our stupid buttons. Can someone with a 2012-2015 confirm this for me?

2014 2LS here and my paddles work. Not necessarily shifters because of the whole LS model deal but they move and click. I think y'all got some aftermarket steering wheel maybe? Did you guys purchase your car brand new?

No I'm positive my wheel is stock, and that's just how the 2010 and 2011 are. I'll take a picture of it in a few minutes for you guys to see how mine are

My '10 SS L99 definitely has 2 PADDLES that work perfectly.
I never use them but they are paddles not buttons.

Do you have a picture of the back of your steering wheel?
