No New Z/28?
So it seems that the Camaro everyone thought was a Z/28 is actually the ZL1 - 1LE. I never thought they would do another Z/28 and I hope I'm still right. Here is a link to YouTube with the new Camaro ZL1 - 1LE package:
https://youtu.be/pBDRr39R1JI What do you think this means to the value of our Z/28's?

Looks like some of the remaining new Z/28's are going back up in price, yet there are still some for sale in the low 50's

We do not have a buyer-seller equilibrium at this time. Too many sellers. But when all the cars eventually land in the hands of owners who want to keep them, that means the dealer 2015 inventory will have dried up. When the dealers who just want to dump the car have all finally done so, it will just be private seller inventory--- and that will necessarily be a smaller number of cars for sale than today. Less inventory, stronger prices.

No new Z/28 on the horizon.
So, does this car beat all Corvettes at this point on the road course? Should be a good shoot out. |

I'm glad they didn't call this a Z/28! Due to faulty synapses in my brain that make me feel that I am rich, I am on a quest to own one of each generation Z/28. Not a fan of the 6th gen, and if they called the ZL1 1LE a Z/28, I would have to buy one!! I have one foot out the door and the other on a banana peel, if I come home with another car, I'm out!

I would love to see GM or Chevy build a future Z/28 or ZL1 to look like an American version of the Lamborghini Murcielago but keep the front engine. Just visualize this for a second ....
The Wing looks good ... But I'm not selling my 15' Z/28.

It certainly looks pretty nasty!
I wonder if they solved the heat sink issues? I'm sure it's great on the street, and for drag racing, but I'd love to hear some real life reports of how it handles a days worth of 30 minute sessions? Stay tuned! |

I think most of the world only cares about one lap. No one actually tries to run 30 min all out. I hate paying for a full session, running 7 min and then driving around two gears higher trying to cool the car down.
