pirelli p-zeros
hey all, just trying to see if anyone is interested locally first. Friday I am getting new tires put on my car, and would like to sell my pirelli's. they have about 2k miles on them, and honestly were driven pretty sedately. I'm asking $200 a tire or obo. the tires are coming off of a 2ss/rs.

ok, got the new tires on the car, they are yokohamas all-season radials. car drives really nice and is slightly more quiet than with the perelli's, which are still for sale btw. I don't know if they have as much grip in a dry environment but in the rain, the are 100% better. and of course they will last about 3 times as long as the perelli's. so far I am very happy with these new tires.

I put on the yoko proxes 4's all season radials. very good tire so far, slightly more quiet than the p-zero's and a ton better when it's wet out. no hydroplaning at all and the p-zero's were terrible in the wet.

You mean Toyo. Darn more tires to think about.

I've been really torn on what to do about tires for the winter. Instead of buying wheels and tires, I've decided to do what you did. I'm gonna run the summer Pierlli's until next fall (they should be worn out by then) and just put all season radials on. On snowy days I'll use my truck. I'm tired of going back and forth on what to do with these summer tires in the winter......so I'm just gonna wear them out and put on all seasons.

took the new toyo's out on some dry twisty roads yesterday and I have to say that I'm very happy with their performance. They probably don't have the lateral grip of the p-zero's but they are very good for an all season radial. Still can't believe that they are more quiet than the perelli's.
