CarFax Reports
Just wanting to purchase a 2010 Camaro 2SS https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/ctd/6019238214.html. Before I do, I would want to CarFax the car. I'm just wondering if I can purchase someone's unused CarFax reports that are expiring soon at a discounted price. http://imgur.com/a/kblhm
Also, is CarFax a reliable site? |

Carfax is reliable overall and is the preferred vehicle history page for many people. Obviously there are some modifications, like the "very rare option" navigation. The navigation is from a 2013+ vehicle, that's when they first became available. Any chance to get in touch with the previous owner?

Looks like he installed a my link screen from a later model. I don't see the door lock button on the drivers door.

I had a CarFax completely miss the fact that the 95 Trans Am I bought in 2007 had a JUNK/SALVAGE title.
Just be careful.

If it is a dealer, tell them you want a Carfax, if they have nothing to hide they will provide one and then if the info is acceptable, negotiate the cost of the Carfax in the purchase price if they don't offer it for free.

I had a drivers door replaced due to wind damage on my Z06 by a dealer and paid by insurance. It never showed up on Carfax. ?
