Tires
Help! I am due for new tires here soon and I'm not too sure which ones to go with. I asked the ex since he used to work at a tire shop and of course he was useless lol recommended the most expensive sport ones. I live in Colorado, I try not to take it out in the snow but sometimes life happens. Should I just stick with the Pirelli p zero's, or go with Goodyear eagles, or maybe Michelin? My issue is the Pirelli's don't have a warranty where the goodyears do. I don't do drag racing or anything, might go to the track a time or 2 this year though. Mostly just city and highway driving.
Any help/recommendations would be awesome. |

most people will steer you away from Pirelli's but I put my second set on last October, I think they are awesome tires. but there are lots of good alternatives. if you drive all year round and see some temps below freezing you might want to go with a good All Season. Personally I like a sticky summer tire and this time of year I only drive the SS sparingly because of the freezing temps, so they work for me.

BFG's or Michelins IMO. Pirelli's get hard after a while. Goodyears don't wear as well. I'm running BFG's.

I just went with Firestone's new Indy500's.
It was 46 degrees the other morning and they gripped great. Very happy with them so far... but then again, that's only been 300 miles.
