What Would you do

If you already had Intake, Exhaust, Downpipe, tune and the catch can and you had 2-3k to play with what would you do to your car.. asking for a friend lol

If it was this car better wheels amd tires upper and lower trailing arms and maybe a cam with upgraded valve springs.

I would get eibach sport lines with new light weight wheels and sticky tires. That would be 3gs right there (CDN anyways)

Cams would be about 2k by themselves not sure I could get rims for 1k

It's amazing how heavy the stock rims are. I think improving performance in this car drastically is just a new set of rims a tires away. Motortrend made a good point of this when head to head matching the turbo mustang and camaro. Mustang won but they said if the camaro had better tires it wouldn't have been that way. Lighter rims even adds to that.... Kind of make me rethink my next spenditure.....

I'm looking at the mrr 228 or fs01 ( these are much lighter)

Turbo parts Canada INC.


Send your turbo to him and he'll machine it and put in better internals and bigger wheels. It costs about $950 canadian. Which is like $650 American dollars. Take advantage of the weak canadian dollar. The of the LTG performance companies ....won't name them but they charge like $1400 USD for that same work.

Then get a re tune and you'll be making more power than anyone on the forum for quite awhile!

Crazy I was just talking with someone at zzp they have a kit coming out that is a direct bolt on using a borg warner turbo and I may be picking that up

A helmet and HPDE. Then once your stock tires and brakes are gone, new tires and brakes.
