Copper Callaway
Ok, I've been working on this color combo for a while and finally had the balls to actually do it. It started when I curbed my rims
 . It wasn't horrible but it drove me nuts. My rims were originally black chrome, which were really nice but started fading and chipping in the center and after I curbed them, I knew I had to do something. I remember a worker telling me about a shop locally that widens wheels and thought I could do that then powder coat them, so that was the plan. I didn't want black rims because everyone has them or chrome and I like black but wanted to do something outside the box. I saw a picture of a dark grey Audi R8 that had copper wheels and thought it looked awesome and thought I could pull it off. My idea to make this color combo work is if I had in other areas to tie it together. I found a local powder coater and we worked on finding the right color, I tried lots samples of copper and nothing I liked and almost gave up on this idea. I finally found a color I thought was pretty close. I tried it on small pieces of my car. I liked the color but was nervous about doing the rims, just because it's so different. I powdered my strut bar, strut bar washers, strut covers and all the clamps that go around my cold air intake. I think the carbon fiber, black and copper looks amazing. I also powdered a set of old school camaro emblems and put one of them on my dash. My shift knob was also done. I could write over 2 pages on my interior, I pretty much had every plastic piece inside my car taken off and painted. Gloss black on some parts, candy root beer to match the powder and matte black and charcoal grey on my steering wheel, radio trim and my center console. I think he matched the paint really well to the copper powder coat and the charcoal I s a darker grey then stock plastics pieces. He also painted my rear diffuser gloss black around the carbon and looks amazing. They also powder coated my exhaust tips and those are getting put on tomorrow morning and will finish it off nicely. I can't wait for this weather to break. I love the look and this came out better then originally thought. It's definitely different and unique to they least.

Looks awesome .
 Except for the gas door. The matt black gas door is out of place with the rest of the car. That is the first thing my eye was attracted to which isn't good .
