Window and belt molding.

I've got discoloration on the belt and rear quarter window moldings. I know they sell the door belt moldings, but can't manage to find the rear window moldings. Are they sold separately or would I have to buy the glass and molding?

I would like to know this also. Does a glass shop have to replace the qtr. window?

You've got to buy the window. It comes with the molding.

Had a car wash lock my keys in my car a few years back, and before I knew noticed it, I had 3 guys trying to jimmy my car open... only to damage my mouldings.

Had to call AAA to get the keys out (no onstar and its a '10). I also made the car wash fix my mouldings on the front side passenger window, and since the moulding on the rear side window was damaged also... the window (with moulding) had to be replaced. Right behind the car wash was a body collision shop that had the part ordered within a day, and badabing... fixed.

The rear Quarter exterior window surround is not a molding but rubber a seal, and good restorative product with light scuffing should make things nicer interior or exterior , plastic or rubber. IN car interiors you have kick panels, sail panels, rear deck covers, and rear quarter arm rests etc.....

There are products available to clean and treat rubber and vinyl.

Unless it is deteriorated that should be all you need.

Treat all the moldings, weather strips, plastics at least twice a year. Doors, windows, hood, trunk, diffuser, grill, dash, etc.

Spritz it onto a micro-fiber to apply.

Use some oil on the hinges and latches at the same time.

If it's really grungy you may need more than one application with a day in between so it has time to soak in.
