Ok, first, please spare me the, "why mod a lease..." talk. I plan to keep the car. And for the most part, I haven't modded it. But it occurred to me that when it went in for a couple of services, nothing was ever said about the Z/28 CAI (and custom pin striping) but...was there a notation made and the VIN recorded? As in, when I do purchase it, could they void the warranty?

We've all seen equally strange things here when it comes to voided warraties.

More than likely they didn't even notice the CAI. Pinstripes won't matter. Lease return inspectors really aren't looking for those things. Stick with stock size tires though if you do turn it in. That's a big one.

Good advice. Thanks. I guess I have another year to decide on keeping it. I'm still leaning that way.
