Still no push button
I had read some old threads on this, but no one has come up with a push button kit or a way to convert the new parts to the older 14s like mine? I loved the push start in the new cars.

A push button does have some cool factor in it but it is not an option I would pay for. It is not like power windows where the differences in effort to roll down a window manually (especially the passenger side window) vs. pressing a button is significant.

One thing I do like about the system on my wife's Cruze is that I don't have to take the key out of my pocket for anything. I can lock/unlock the door by pushing a button and start the car by pushing a button. It really is simple to just use, not that a key is much harder. But I hate digging around my pocket to get the keys, I'm lazy.

I've got one of each, and love the way that LS3 springs to life at the push of a button.

This ↑↑↑ .
Though I could get interested in a system where activating the starter was separated from the key-switch and delegated to a separate pushbutton or toggle switch more like a NASCAR race car. Either that or it's like you're sitting in front of a video game screen instead of behind a windshield. Norm

Wish my Camaro had the same setup as my Corvette... put FOB in pocket, walk up & it unlocks, push button to start/shut off, walk away & it locks, never have to touch the FOB
