Just Installed a Vararam CAI and Power Wedge!

Well, I asked opinions and input from this community about the above and received "0" responses. So I went ahead and purchased both items and installed them this past weekend. If you have a stock 14/15 SS, I HIGHLY suggest you get these two mods. It made a world of difference in Launch, shifting (auto), throttle response and exhaust note, so much so on the exhaust, that I won't be getting an aftermarket exhaust system!

If anyone wants any input feel free to respond or contact me via PM!

I assume since you have a 2015, this is for the VR-DRX model right?

That's correct! I'll edit the post to reflect!

I've got their ram air version (2010) and love it. It was a definite improvement over the previous K&N cai I was wearing. Not sure about that 'power wedge' though. Wonder if it helps smoothen out that air flow. Wonder if it matters to people who already have ported tb's.

Thanks for the pics!

Most people say it's snake oil for the spacer. I can't imagine that a company like Vararam would spend time, money and energy to sell snake oil. I can't say whether or not it does anything, as I installed it with the CAI. Nor do I have the means to the before and after Dyno testing, that so many demand on these forums.

Companies will try to sell you anything that they can , hello yesterday i was dumdfounded when i saw a bottom of sparkling water that was called essence of water. Might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but come on water is water and wtf would essence of water taste like anyway.

I have had your setup for the last like 4 months.... and I love it. Spacer and all.

I just installed the Vararam and Power Wedge model for the 2011 SS. I honestly could not believe what a difference it made. I have never installed a CAI on any vehicle and noticed this kind of an improvement. 25mph roll-ons with the TC turned of the car just smokes the tires now, it did not do that when it was stock.

you can 'edit' a post without having to create a new post to correct the bad one...
