Need some help with lighting upgrades!
Alright, so a little background story about my Camaro. I own a 1LT 2014 Camaro, and like any Camaro owner.. I had every expectation to mod it as much as humanly possible. Getting some (interior) lighting upgrades to the dome/trunk/footwell lighting was my most recent work, aside from blacking out the rims for a more aggressive look. Now, it's time to upgrade the HORRIBLE stock lights by car came with, and quite frankly, I need some help from the community that has already taught me a TON.
Currently, my car has the very basic, non-LED (non-halo) headlights. Basically, my question to you is, given my make/model/year, can I even upgrade it to halo lighting? And, if so, where can I purchase them/how much should I be expecting to pay? Essentially, I was going for headlights such as these (Halos and different color shifting) but I have no idea where he purchased the lighting upgrades from, or if that can even be applied to a non-SS/ZL1: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=463907 |

You can upgrade to the GM halos from GM which is expensive of course. You can probably find some used ones if you wanted to go that route. I know that Anzo makes the projectors with the "U" halos for our years. Those run around $400 I believe and they use H3 bulbs instead of the ones in your vehicle now. And as far as the color changing goes. The main brand that I know is Oracle. Again, you would need those stock halos. I'm sure someone else will be able to add to my little knowledge though.

I will definitely look into the standard GM HID halo headlights also, however, I was more or less asking if those headlights (the ones in the SS/RS Camaros) would even fit into our headlights or if they're different dimensions entirely. And if so, is going and getting them from GM going to be the cheapest route? |

Yeah oracle does actually make some for the non rs type. Personally I don't like them. The "halo" goes around the whole headlight. It's basically an outline. And you can get the different colors. Just google that "14 Camaro oracle headlights". Should pop right up. As far as going to GM. Yes they will fit. They don't look like the same size but I am about 95% positive that they are the same thing, same dimension and everything. I don't think GM will be the cheapest route. He gave you an eBay listing. You can try that or I know there are some places like GM parts direct or something that sell those stock parts. So give them a shot. His listing is at 1300, seems kind of high to me. But I am not sure
