What are the ground effects made of?

Have googled like mad, searched GM pages, GM parts pages, and threads here..

All I've found is vague advertising descriptions of how they make your car look good and help with drag.

but... what are they made of !!

plastic..... Lets just say on a dark colored car.....no problems

On a white car....You better have a detailed oriented person doing the install..

So that would be ABS plastic then?

Is the rest of the front end/rear end made of that as well? Or are they different plastics.

feels like the same material to me. I keep hitting my leg on the drivers side when I get out so I haft to make a effort to step wide. I Still think the GFX makes the car stand out.
