Will this address the supercharger rattle issue?
Guys/Galls:
I have a 2013 with 10,000 miles and the original supercharger (no problems yet). Will this upgrade from supercharges online address the rattle/bearing issue while allowing for pulley upgrades? http://www.gm-efi.com/news/easy-lsa-...argers-online/ |

Yes, But depending on the pulley you will need different belt and a tune and possibly injectors.
What is the price?

And you still have to install it. If I were going to have to install it, I would do this:https://innovatorswest.com/1001-Blower-Pulley.html With this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LSA-Supercha...-/192114633188 And this belt: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gates-K08064...iRr_hg&vxp=mtr
While you will have to take the snout to a machine shop to have the old pulley press off, and the new one pressed on, you will merely need a $7.50 tube of Ultra Grey. You will not need a tune provided "nothing" else is done to your car. Anything else, and you will require injectors. And that will require a tune, and definitely void the motor warranty. Technically the pulley and coupler will, but I doubt most would ever know it had been done. BTW, most belt charts call for a 10mm bigger belt, but I have found this to fit best. |

So your suggesting he goes with a 18% pulley and he does not need a tune?

Yes, even though folks here say no. The convention here is that 10% is the limit. While this would vary from car to car, and more over climate, I have found it conservative. A stock tuned ECU will not allow a 2.55" upper to damage your engine. I've done the same with a 9.1 lower. Also used a roto-fab with it for about 18 months, and about 75 passes on an 1/8 mile track. Now this, I would not recommend.

But on a more enlightening note, what do you not like about that isolator? |
