Camaro Interior Question

We have seen the preproduction interior's on some of the test mules which probaly are very similar to the production version.

But what (If anything) would you like Added or Changed to the interior?

What kinds of realistic things do you think you'd want in the production interior, and how important is it?

I know personally, as bad as it sounds, If i ended up not liking the way the interior felt, it would be a deal breaker as far as the entire car goes.

I just want the interior to look like a sports car interior, i dont want it to be boring. Yet, i dont want it to look busy either. I want paddle shifters, Hud would be nice, handsfree bluetooth would be nice.

None of these however are dealbreakers, just as long as it looks nice, im in!

yea paddles would be nice. even though id end up going manual, i think paddles add to the quality of the car.

Ford couldnt Spell paddles.

I was hoping for circular vents that can completely close, like the ones in the Toyota (sorry) Rav4. That is by far the best vent design. A little less flat dash and more of the Malibu's and Traverse's "dual cockpit" flow would have been nice. Simpler HVAC and radio controls would be nice, but what they have now aren't bad.

All those things are minor issues that I would change if I was in charge, but I don't mind not having them. The big deal for me is the feel of the interior. Nice, solid, well textured, soft touch plastics and other materials, rugged, tight construction, and comfortable seating/driving positions are the real make-or-break interior issues for me. Those things we sadly won't know until the production model is revealed, and if they're not there, the deal is off.

i have been out of town for a week and i had a rental car V6 mustang, like i always preffer (rental car choices arent exactly decent) to beat on.

the interior feels snug but cheap. and the dash comes up so high that it appears as though your seat is too low to the ground.

i quote my younger brother michael..

"...whats wrong with it...?"

lots of things michael. hopefully our camaro will be the benchmark for others to shake their fists at.

Now i am REALLY hoping they offer some great interior options.

its where you will spend 99% of the time with your car. it better be nice.

get some red stitching on black leather.

I hope the interior is on par with the new CTS. GM really did a great job with that car.
Personally, I would like to see a nice set of leather Recaros like in the CTS-V or the new G8 GXP. (See pic below)

I believe we'll all be pleasantly surprised and satisfied with what we see regarding the interior.

I listened to a talk Scott and John had a few weeks back in Carlisle, and based on what I heard, there is ALOT of attention being placed on the interior. I was amazed to see how much attention was being placed on the "little things".

My only hope for the interior; a good stereo system. My only complaint with the system used in the 4th Gen. were the speakers. :(
