Tools for DIY cam swap for L99

Hi
I will be doing a VVT cam for my L99, at the same time will be deleting the AFM, replacing the springs and upgrading the trunnions at the same time
I've done a few overhauls before(none on GM V8s though), and all were on engine stands

What-other than handtools- will I need to perform the job easily with engine in the car?
as a start, the Crane cams valve spring compressor looks like a good investment

Waiting for your suggestions
Thanks in advance

Start at post #68. I did heads, cam, timing chain, lifters and super charger. You'll see all the tools I used. Goes to about page 15.

Also ck out RobertWays ls3 cam install. It is THE guide for cam swaps..

Getting the ac condenser out of the way without disconnecting it was the hardest part...

Get a flywheel lock...
